The interface uses the Ident Engine JavaScript library. It in turn makes call's
to Google’s Social Graph API, Yahoo’s YQL API and UfXtract microformats parser API. The content is parsed from micoformats, RSS and Atom feeds.
The nature of this type of technique means you will get the odd false relationship link. This can ripple through the data collection and bring back information for someone completely different.
